THE AMERICAN INDIAN: STORIES, SONGS, ART

The Hoffman Estates Museum is happy to present a program on the American Indian featuring:

• Anthropologist Marilyn Lind presents George Catlins’ Gallery of art and his stories
• Dale and Paula Francisco & Family present a mini powwow with storytelling, dancing and a description of their regalia
• Joe Yazzie will give a description of some of his art work and talk about the American Trickster Gallery in Schaumburg

The program will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates, IL.
